The Select Committee on Public Safety, Accessibility & Emergency Preparedness, advises Council on Public Safety matters by hearing from groups and citizens on their perspectives and concerns about public safety in the Town of Qualicum Beach and their ideas and recommendations to create a safer community.
The Select Committee on Public Safety consists a Councillor appointed to Protective Services and 12 members of community groups and agencies. Members of the Committee shall serve during the pleasure of the Council.
Regular meetings of the Committee will be held on the second Wednesday of each of the following months, January, May and September of each year commencing at 2:00 pm
