Registration from 8am, and swim kickoff at 10am This friendly competition, held at the picturesque Qualicum Beach waterfront, serves as a testament to the community's dedication in promoting active lifestyles. The event has garnered immense popularity over the years, drawing swimmers of all ages and abilities to showcase their skills in the one-mile course. With 14 award categories, the Ocean Mile Swim offers a diverse range of opportunities for participants to strive for excellence. Whether a seasoned swimmer looking to push their limits or a newcomer eager to take part in a competition, there is a category for everyone. Categories to participate in are: • 1st overall • 1st District 69 • 1st Female • 1st Open Class • Youngest Swimmer • Most Senior Swimmer • 1st - 13 & under • 1st - 14 to 18 Yrs • 1st - 19 to 25 Yrs • 1st - 26 to 35 Yrs • 1st - 36 to 45 Yrs • 1st - 46 to 55 Yrs • 1st - 56 to 64 Yrs • 1st - 65 Yrs & over • 1st - Senior Woman Registrations open at 8am on the day of the event, and swimming kicks off at 10 am. Meet next to the Shores Restaurant, and stay until the trophy presentations at the end of the event.
