Freedom of the Town Ceremony May 7, 2022 Category: Town Events Date: May 7, 2022 Time: 2pm   Contact   Phone: 250 752 6921 Email: Send Email Come join in "Freedom of the Town" ceremonies, where the Town of Qualicum Beach and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 76 will "bestow the right, privilege, honour, and distinction of marching with colours flying, bayonets fixed, and drums beating to 19 Mission Support Squadron, 19 Wing Comox within the bounds of the Town." The public are invited to attend this historic event on Saturday, May 7, from 2pm. The parade will leave from the Civic Centre and travel down Second Avenue West to Town Hall, where the Naden Navy brass band will be in attendance and performing, and a special fly-over is planned during the ceremony.
