On November 26th the Canadian Federation of University Women, Parksville Qualicum Beach branch will hang red dresses in the foyers of the Town Hall and the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre. The REDress Project was started by Winnipeg-based artist, Jamie Black as a national project intended to be a visual reminder of the more than 1,000 missing and murdered indigenous women in Canada.

Everyone is welcome on November 27th at 9:30am to join Town Council, Qualicum First Nation Chief Michael Recalma, Parish Priest Andrew Twiddy of the St. Anne and St. Edmond Anglican Church, and co-coordinators of the REDress Project from the Canadian Federation of University Women for a blessing in the Town Hall Foyer. The dresses will remain up until December 10th.
