Consideration of Increase to Council Size
The Town of Qualicum Beach is a growing community with an increasing population of over 9,000 residents. Since its incorporation in 1942, the Town’s governance has been led by an elected mayor and four council members. Given the size of the town and the potential benefits to residents, the Town is considering increasing the number of elected Councillors from four to six members. As part of this review the Town is looking for the public's input on this initiative.
