Finance 4 The Finance Department oversees the financial operations of the Town of Qualicum Beach and coordinates ongoing financial planning. The department develops and implements long-range plans which meet the capital and operating needs of the community through the Town Financial Plan Bylaw. The majority of the department’s responsibilities include: property taxation; utilities billing; budgeting; general accounting; Financial Planning; Control, and Reporting; Payroll and Benefits Administration; Accounts Payable; Banking and Investments.

The Finance Department also provides support services in the form of financial information, advice, and direction to Council, all Town Departments, and the general public.
