In accordance with the Act, an Accessibility Advisory Team must, to the extent possible, have members who are selected in accordance with the following goals:
The Town's Accessibility Advisory Team consists of seven members, appointed by Council. Additionally, the Team includes three non-voting members—two Town staff and one Council liaison.
The Accessibility Advisory Team developed a draft Plan based on the principles of inclusion, adaptability, diversity, collaboration, self-determination, and universal design. The Plan will be reviewed and updated at least once every three years and includes a mechanism for public input.

The draft Plan was posted to the Town's website by the legislated date of September 1, 2023. The revised draft Plan will be brought forward to Council at the September 11, 2024 Regular Council Meeting.
