    Campfire Fire Ban in Qualicum Beach



    As of July 1, 2018, the garbage collection schedule for single family residences in the Town of Qualicum Beach will change from a fixed-day schedule to an add-a-day system. The collection day advances after a statutory holiday to mirror the collection of recycling an food waste. The first pickup day for the new schedule will be July 3, 2018. Garbage and green bins for single family residences, for the entire Town, will be picked up on July 3.

Effective Wednesday, July 18th, 2018, at Noon, in conjunction with the BC Forest Service, all open burning, including campfires, beach fires and fireworks, are prohibited within the entire Qualicum Beach Fire Protection area. Please click for a complete list of details.
