
Paleontology Exhibit - a world class collection of fossils from Vancouver
Island featuring many important invertebrate and vertebrate species.
Displays include:
- The Qualicum Beach Walrus, the most complete Ice Age walrus found on this
coast of North America. "Rambling Rosie" is estimated to be 70,000 years
old.
- A vast collection of Vancouver Island Ammonites, an extinct order of marine
mollusks.
