Financial Administration

This department oversees the financial operations of the Town of Qualicum Beach and coordinates ongoing financial planning. The department develops and implements long-range plans which meet the capital and operating needs of the community through the Town Financial Plan Bylaw. The majority of the department’s responsibilities include:

  • Property Taxation
  • Utilities Billing
  • Budgeting
  • General Accounting
  • Financial Planning, Control, and Reporting
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration
  • Accounts Payable
  • Banking and Investments

The Finance Department also provides support services in the form of financial information, advice, and direction to Council, all Town Departments, and the general public.
