Manhole Rehabilitation Works Begin Along Foreshore

Knappett Industries on behalf of the Regional District of Nanaimo, will be doing manhole rehabilitation work on the sanitary sewer interceptor that runs along our foreshore between August 15th and August 21st. The work will need to commence between 6:00-7:00 am to allow for sufficient access time during the low tides. This is important work to ensure that sea water does not leak into the interceptor and cause unnecessary additional flow at the French Creek Pollution Control Centre. We ask for your patience during this period of construction.

• Wednesday, August 16th - Near Alder Street
• Thursday, August 17th - Near Bay Street
• Friday, August 18th - End of Memorial Avenue
• Saturday, August 19th - End of Judges Row
