Good Samaritan Ride (SAM) Program The Good Samaritan Ride (SAM) program provides a transportation alternative to those members of the community who cannot or do not wish to use their own vehicle to travel around Town. The new program employs vehicle traffic already circulating in the Town as a source of convenient transportation. Drivers who register with the Town in the program can give a ride to any riders registered in the program when they see them at the designated SAM Stops (Sammy Stops) around Town. SAM is completely voluntary and the riders and the drivers must not exchange any money.
